Brian Aikens

I photograph images that capture imaginative people and the wonders of the super natural place that I call home.  I live in  the town of Squamish  which is located on the Sea to Sky Highway about  half way between Vancouver and Whistler BC.

I love to collaborate with athletes, artists and entrepreneurs  to create images that capture movement, mood  or a special spark that fits a particular vision.

I have been passionate about photography since I was young, back when film was the way.  My field of work was in control electronics. For many years I worked at the cyclotron at TRIUMF at UBC. I moved to the business world where I ended up as the CTO of  a wireless lighting controls business that I co-owned. I sold that business and now focus on photography and enjoying the great outdoors..

Location scouting and determining  the best shooting conditions at fabulous natural places it something that I really enjoy.

The base price for a 1 hour shoot including processing of 10 images and one 8.5" x 11 print is $125.

There are a lot of variables including the possibility of collaborative services, so send me a proposal or ask for a quote based on your idea of images you would like to end up with.

If you find yourself in need of studio space, equipment or coaching for your own  photography shoot, I might be able to help you with that as well.

Working with Brian always exceeds expectations. He is committed to getting the result with his images and plans every detail to a T to bring it altogether. Some of my favourite aerial photographs are Brian's captures, thanks Brian always a pleasure to work with you.
